Make It Happen Success Principle, Number 6

A gentlemen sitting next to me at a marketing event I attended once, leaned over and gave me some advice I'll never forget. He whispered 7 words in my ear and those 7 words resonated with so surely, that they become success principle number 6.

These 7 words changed my life in so many ways, and I've lived by them ever since. I apply them when I prospect. I apply them when I do the training calls. I apply them when I play in a soccer game.

- I especially applied them when I have to do something I really don't want to do, yet I know I must. And every time these situations happen, I remind myself to apply principle number six in my life and I succeed.

Perhaps these words will do the same for you. So here, right now, is Make It Happen Success Principle, Number 6:

"Do the uncomfortable, until it becomes comfortable"

When I first heard these those words - instantly I had a vision of speaking to hundreds, maybe thousands of people and, interestingly, being very comfortable on stage. No fear, only contentment. An Awesome feeling.

It was a feeling of knowing and trusting that if I just kept at it, it would get even easier. And the time after that, it would get easier still.

Eventually, by doing the uncomfortable, it becomes comfortable. It will work for you, too, but only you can make this choice.

In the beginning doing something that's new to you usually feels clumsy. That's Okay and is natural. Nobody is born with the innate ability to build a skyscraper just by looking at skyscrapers in magazines.

I could tell you 'till I'm blue in the face and all day long about how you need to "Do the uncomfortable, until it becomes comfortable." It doesn't matter what I say to you from now on. It's up to you, and up to you only. There's no holding hands here. Only You can decide to learn and Do the uncomfortable.

And once you decide to go for it, this is one principle will absolutely take you to the top!

Go for it, but do it now.
