Keep Your Valleys from
Turning into Cliffs

by Mark Treick on October 7, 2010

We all face them and we all will face them in our business. What I want to share with you today is how I think it is best to go about, not avoiding these Peaks and Valleys, but how to keep the fall from the peak from turning into a fall off a cliff when we are learning new things as we develop our businesses... The best way I know to do this is to come at learning situations in a gradual manner. If you approach your learning in a gradual manner, you will see your learning improve and be more structured because you are not getting away from your basic structure. I know there are a lot of people who seem to do very well at living by the seat of their pants, but I think you will see for the vast majority of us - and I will definitely included myself in this category - feel better about our chances of success if we properly prepare as we learn. In this video I point out some very basic principles to making your learning curve less of a challenge and more productive. I hope you enjoy this video blog. It's simple but it's too the point. Have a Spectacular Day everyone!
